CHIC LAST MINUTE HALLOWEEN COSTUMES 👻

·

If you are anything like us then you probably have not even started looking for your halloween costume. Lucky for you we are on the same page and have parties coming up where costumes are apparently mandatory! We decided to round up a few easy items that can create a last minute costume and you can continue to wear beyond the holiday because let's be honest whats the point of shopping if you aren't upgrading your wardrobe?

Sandra Dee Olsson from Grease is an ICONIC character and costume. She is so timeless and always chic. Her best version of herself is when she realizes she can be exactly who she thinks is the “coolest girl in school.” She has this idea of who she thinks is awesome and she decides for herself that she is going to be exactly that! What an inspiration!!! The best way to capture this look is with an all black outfit. Our Donovan Pant matches her pants in the movie and our Carmen Ruffle Crop Top goes together with it nicely. Finish the costume with bright red pumps and either a leather jacket or a silky bomber jacket. Throw on some vintage Ray-Bans and you are good to go. For extra points, curl your hair up BIG and put on a vibrant red lipstick to bring the whole look together.

When you think of cavewoman, you immediately picture a wild woman, but why not get a little creative and present a cavewoman a little more refined. Wilma Flintstone was our inspiration for this one. Start with our Amara Top which is the perfect base to this iconic cavewoman costume. If you have any one shoulder top, that will be perfect. We love the Amara since it is cropped and is versatile base with almost any outfit you build given it’s neutral color. Next up is the Dana Midi Skirt which gives the outfit the perfect animal print for the outfit! Another great option would be the Katherine Cheetah Print Maxi Skirt which has a fabulous ruched detail along the side. Depending on what you will be doing on Halloween, nude sandals would be a great option for a party but neutral flats would be a great idea for work. Now the hair is up to you, we would recommend a high ponytail with a “bone” barrette detail tied into it. A sleek low bun would be fun with a big bone statement necklace!

This is our favorite go-to last minute costume because it is very simple and easily achievable. Start with any top you have, preferably a cropped and solid color. IF you have a vintage Harley Davidson tee that would be perfect! Dress it up with our Ivy Jacket giving the look the much needed edge to pull off the costume. We LOVE this jacket, as it is more unique than a regular matte motorcycle jacket and you can style SO MANY OUTFITS with it! Take this look a step further with adding our Cleo Pants. The liquid black pairing visually encompasses how badass your costume really is! Make sure you add dark black eyeliner and a red lip to match. It would be so cute to draw on a fun tattoo for the night. No one will want to mess with you this Halloween ;)

Who doesn’t love a good 1960’s hippie costume? The paisley print is the quintessential print of the 1960’s. When you see it, you immediately are transported back to the time of free love and many, many peace signs. The Peyton Dress ties it all in with the paisley patchwork print and the gold hardware belted detail. It is flirty and flowy and so dreamy for this costume. It would look amazing paired with brown booties and a brown floppy hat with big round rimmed sunglasses. You can even take it a step further and add small painted flowers or peace signs on your face or arms. The 1960’s were all about symbols of flowers, peace, and love so make sure you embody that on your night out in this costume!

Have a Happy Halloween!
